My name is kelsi. East-tennesseean, appalachian raised kid. I found a home in music when I was young. Taught myself the guitar and started creating songs.
I tend to write about the things that compel me to keep believing in the good out there in the world.
I have a record coming out this year called here and here before. its about human’s resiliency to keep believing that there’s more going on..Its about falling in love and trusting yourself and that no matter what you were taught by white haired men in churches that the love you feel isn’t wrong. Its a record about dreaming with your friends and getting closer to those dreams and holding each other when you don’t. Its about knowing yourself and learning to like yourself. Its about a bunch of stuff and I’m really proud of it.
I have released a single from my upcoming record called “Thinking of you.” YOu can hear the live version to the right. My second single will be releasing November 27th.
